This hike isn’t a wilderness experience, so if you’re looking for solitude, you might want to try other trails. On the other hand, this is a great hike for people-watching (known for celebrities sightings though we didn’t see any on our hike) right in the middle of LA. This hike highlights include million dollar mansions and priceless views of the Hollywood sign, Beverly Hills, the Sunset Strip and the LA Basin. As well as and the amazing views at the trail summit, known as Cloud’s Rest. If you like people watching, beautiful views and a good workout, I recommend visiting Runyon Canyon.
